Kampman Injures Knee In Practice

Kampman has been harrassing opposing quarterbacks all season. Jaguars fans are collectively holding their breath as they wait for word on the injured right knee of defensive end Aaron Kampman. Tania Ganguli first reported the injury yesterday evening on her blog.  The injury was serious enough for Kampman to have an MRI Thursday night. Kampman signed with the Jaguars this off season as a free agent after tearing the ACL in his left knee last season with the Green Bay Packers.  His addition has greatly improved a Jaguars pass rush that has struggled mightily over the past couple seasons. An injury this late in the week certainly does not bode well for Kampman’s chances of playing in this Sunday’s important game against the Houston Texans.
