The Kansas City Chiefs shocked the world with an impressive 19-14 win over the previously undefeated Green Bay Packers. Green Bay’s 19 game winning streak came to a screeching halt with a lot of credit due to the’ Chiefs defense who put forth an inspiring effort.
Not only did the Packers receive their first L on the season, linemen Bryan Bulaga and Derek Sherrod went down with injuries, further hurting an already weak offensive line.
Yes, the Packers can no longer have an unblemished season, but maybe a loss helps their quest for back-to-back Super Bowls.
The first half was by far the worst half the Packers have played in an entire calender year (Green Bay went 364 days without a loss). They were shut out for the first time this season and probably should have been down by more than six if it wasn’t for a lackluster red-zone offense from the Chiefs.
