Using the most up to date Madden 25 rosters, I will simulate each game of the NFL playoffs in hopes to get a realistic preview of what could happen this NFL playoffs.Who Will Win?Indianapolis ColtsKansas City ChiefsView resultsPowered by FreeOnlineSurveys.comIndianapolis Colts0%Kansas City Chiefs0%Create a poll like thisPlaying on the road, the Chiefs won the coin toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff. After back to back Jamaal Charles runs to start off the game, Alex Smith was intercepted on his first pass he threw, giving the Colts great field position at the Chiefs 24. The Chiefs defense forced the Colts to settle for an Adam Vinatieri 34 yard field goal.In what looked like another disaster for the Chiefs, facing 3rd and 16 from their own 14, Alex Smith connected with Dwayne Bowe for 22 yards picking up the first down. The Chiefs marched all the way down the field, handing the ball off to Jamaal Charles from the Colts 6.  He fumbled at the 3 and it was recovered by the Colts.End of 1st: Colts 3 Chiefs 0Andrew Luck looked sharp as he converted two 3rd down conversions, both to T.Y. Hilton, and then threw a bullet to Colby Fleener which picked up 26 yards.  However the Chiefs defense made some stops and forced Vinatieri to kick another field goal, this time connecting from 25 yards out. After another Chiefs 3 and out, the Colts had good field position once again and this time they made the most of it.  Trent Richardson was able to break a few tackles for a beautiful (and rare) 29 yard run, before Luck converted a 3rd and 10 as he connected with Griff Whalen down to the Chiefs 6.  Luck connected with tight end Colby Fleener in the end zone to give the Colts a 13-0 lead.Starting at their own 22 with 2 timeouts and the clock at 1:32, the Chiefs had to get some points on the board before going into halftime. At the Colts 42, the Chiefs decide to go for it on 4th and 2, and convert on an inside draw with Jamaal Charles. Getting all the way down to the 29, Dexter McCluster caught a pass and stretched to get out of bounds but was ruled down in bounds and the Chiefs were not able to get off a field goal before the clock expired. At the Half: Colts 13 Chiefs 0The Colts start with the ball and look to add to their lead. After picking apart the Chiefs defense as they marched down the field, Andrew Luck hit Trent Richardson on a screen pass on third down, and Richardson went 14 yards into the end zone. The Colts went for 2 but did not convert. But they now have a 19-0 lead.Desperate for offense, the Chiefs basically just gave the ball to Charles and told him to do something with it. As he's done all year, Charles made some big plays, including a 34 yard run to get inside of Colts territory.  He would later find the end zone, getting the Chiefs on the board on a 3 yard TD run.If you think by the offense getting the Chiefs on the board it would give their defense some life, you are wrong. Every time it looks like they're going to make a stop, Luck converts another big third down. He now has the Colts at the Chiefs 1 yard line at the end of the 3rd.After 3: Colts 19 Chiefs 7Three seconds into the 4th quarter the Colts find pay dirt, as Donald Brown gets the easy 1 yard touchdown.  The Chiefs are now down three scores and time is not on their side.Alex Smith looked like Peyton Manning on the following possession, hitting receivers in stride.  Facing a third and 9 from the Colts 11, Smith dumped off a pass for Charles who brought it down to the 1 yard line, running it in on the following play. The Chiefs now trail the Colts by 12 with just over 5 minutes remaining.Kansas City's defense finally forced the Colts to punt, giving the Chiefs the ball with 3 minutes to play in a two possession game.Alex Smith got the offense rolling as the Chiefs get down to the Colts 20, but facing a 4th and 10. With 1:36 left in the game and down 12, a field goal does absolutely nothing for the Chiefs, so they went for it.  The Colts blitzed and Erik Walden brought down Smith for the sack, causing a turnover on downs for the Chiefs.Indy tried to milk the clock with three run plays, which the Chiefs stopped, but for KC to use all 3 of their timeouts.  The Colts punted, giving the Chiefs another opportunity to score, kick an onsides kick, recover it and then score again to win the game with just 1:18 left in the game.Starting on their own 31, Smith hit Donnie Avery for 26 yards, Junior Hemingway for 22 yards, threw the ball away to escape pressure and then hit Avery for a 21 yard touchdown.  They cut the Colts lead to 5 but Whalen catches the onsides attempt and goes down, capturing the win for the Colts, and ending the Chiefs great season.Final Score: Colts 26 Chiefs 21STATS table.tableizer-table { border: 1px solid #CCC; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif font-size: 12px; } .tableizer-table td { padding: 4px; margin: 3px; border: 1px solid #ccc; } .tableizer-table th { background-color: #104E8B; color: #FFF; font-weight: bold; } PlayerCompAttPass YdsINTRush YdsRecRec YdsTDsAlex Smith243732911Andrew Luck172824402Jamaal Charles1035652Donald Brown42131Trent Richardson391141Knile Davis11211T.Y.
