Jaguars tight end Zach Potter had some not so nice things to say after seeing who the team drafted in the third round.
Of all the places a star receiver could have landed the Jacksonville Jaguars were not the ideal location. A top defensive unit their offense is less than desired. Moving up to the fifth overall pick the Jacksonville Jaguars selected the top receiver in the 2012 NFL draft, Justin Blackmon. Now the question becomes is Blaine Gabbert going
The last time we heard from Wayne Weaver he was selling the Jacksonville Jaguars for $760 million and heading off into the sunset to live out his life without the thought of Blaine Gabbert throwing another INT. Now comes word that Wayne is saying “F-it, I’m unloading my 14,000 sq. ft. frat house.” Dude is 77 and was asking $10 million. The Buy It Now price is now $5.5 million...
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva, the Jacksonville Jaguars are interested in trading up in order to target Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.
“The Jaguars would love to find a way to get (him),” said Schefter
No matter who starts at quarterback, the Jaguars need a number one receiver and Blackmon could be that player if they’re able to land him.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have drafted 28-year-old defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton in the seventh round.
The team has an unsettled situation at defensive tackle, with Tyson Alualu coming off knee surgery and fellow starter Terrance Knighton out for the majority of the offseason following eye surgery.
Pendleton is a 328-pound run-stopper who wanted to attend Michigan State out of...
Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon sat out the final day of rookie camp because of a sore right foot.
The Jaguars drafted the former Oklahoma State star with the fifth pick in last week's NFL Draft, hoping he can upgrade the league's worst offense.
Blackmon spent the first two days of the three-day camp getting familiar with coaches, teammates and plays. He spent...
Everyone is making great decisions so far tonight, which is a rarity. The Jacksonville Jaguars needed to upgrade the talent around Blaine Gabbert, and Justin Blackmon will immediately become their No. 1 receiver.
Don’t expect this to immediately turn things around in Jacksonville, but in a year or two Gabbert/Blackmon could be a special connection so long as GM Gene Smith continues...
With the number 5 pick the Jacksonville Jaguars select WR Justin Blackmore. He should be an immediate impact player for the Jags who need to stretch the field.
Blackmon was named the 2010 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, the first receiver to earn the honor. On December 9, 2010, he was awarded the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver. Blackmon also holds...
The Jacksonville Jaguars have released punters Nick Harris and Spencer Lanning, Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union reports. Jacksonville selected Cal punter Bryan Anger in the third round (70th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft, making both Harris and Lanning expendable. A longtime member of the Detroit Lions, Harris replaced Matt Turk midway through the 2011 season, averaging...
The Jacksonville Jaguars have made one of the NFL draft's biggest surprises, selecting Cal punter Bryan Anger in the third round.
He's the highest punter drafted since 1995, when the Chicago Bears chose Todd Sauerbrun in the second round.
Anger averaged more than 44 yards a punt in 2011, and had at least one punt of 50 yards or more in 11 games.
But is he good enough to...
With the fifth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Oklahoma St. WR Justin Blackmon. Blackmon is a tremendous pass-catching target in the mold of former All-Pro receiver Terrell Owens. He's a big target who battles to make the reception and has the physical skills necessary to consistently come away with the ball. Blackmon will be an effective red...
Justin Blackmon was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars to help Blaine Galbert. They already have the threat of Maurice Jones-Drew, now they add another threat to become more dimensional. Next stop, help protect Galbert?
Shahid Khan, billionaire owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars has gone “out of bounds,” say workers and community residents who plan to confront the NFL with concerns about the Illinois businessman on Draft Day on April 26th in New York.
Khan bought the Jaguars in November of 2011 for $760 million, with a fortune earned during his rags-to-riches rise from an immigrant engineer...
The Jaguars passing game was the worst in franchise history a season ago. This offseason was spent addressing their deficiencies at wide receiver and there should be a significant boost in the fall.
