Aside from the Chad Johnson fiasco and appearances on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” the Dolphins, under coach Joe Philbin, are not generating a ton of buzz. Compared to their divisional mates, they’re a team that’s flown primarily under the radar.
Leave it to Karlos Dansby to change that.
Dansby, who last year dubbed himself the NFL’s best linebacker, has upped the stakes for himself and one day expects to end up where few men have gone before.
“The Hall of Fame,” Dansby said in an interview with FOX Sports Florida. “If I lead men and I stay focused on what I need to do, I’ll get there.”
Despite having never earned a trip to the Pro Bowl, Dansby believes two key statistics will land him in Canton. He’s accumulated 30.5 sacks and 11 interceptions in his career. He needs just nine more picks to become the twelfth member of the famed 20-20 club, his golden ticket to a yellow jacket.
