(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By DOUG TUCKER Associated Press When the scruffy Kansas City Chiefs host AFC West-leading Denver on Sunday, they'll have a storm of disturbing trends and a host of discouraging stats to swat away.
For one thing, the Chiefs (1-9) have lost seven in a row while Denver has won five straight. During that time, the Broncos (7-3) have scored 30 or more points every time out. The Chiefs' biggest output all year has been 27 - and that was back in September.
In their last six games, Kansas City's impoverished offense has averaged fewer than 11 points while dropping to dead last in the NFL in scoring, turnover margin (minus-21) and point differential (minus-13.2).
In three games, the Chiefs have failed to score an offensive touchdown at all.
As if that weren't enough to give heart to Denver fans, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning brings in a 7-1 career record against KC.

Peyton Manning says he’s not trying to do the things he did at 28. Once again, he’s trying to fake everyone out. Manning is an MVP and Comeback Player of the Year candidate. The latter is pretty much a wrap.
It’s true that he isn’t trying to do the same things at 28; he had 49 touchdowns and a passer rating of 121.1. That would be ridiculous.
Maybe he was talking about...
The Denver Broncos need to protect Peyton Manning at all cost today… The Denver Broncos may be facing a team that is only 1-9, the Chiefs defense is absolutely crazy when it comes to putting pressure on the opposing teams quarterback. The Chiefs defense is responsible for knocking Ben Roethlisberger out for at least 4 games. Peyton Manning can’t afford to take the kind of hits...

After ranking 23rd overall in 2011, the Denver Broncos offense has turned things around this season.
Last season, the Broncos ranked 25-of-32 among teams in points scored (309) and scored 30 points in a game on just two occasions. Needless to say, the Broncos have made great improvements in 2012.
This season, the Broncos have scored 30 points...
For the first time since he moved into their neighborhood, the Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos with quarterback Peyton Manning. Only 10 games into the season and Manning's influence over the Broncos has been very apparent as they lead the AFC West with a 7-3 record. The Chiefs are six games behind at 1-9. When Manning became available back in March, the Chiefs were one...
Continuing on with rivalry weekend, the (1-9) Chiefs welcome a surging (7-3) Denver Broncos squad to town in hopes of causing a major upset to the conference title hopes of Peyton Manning and company.
If there was any doubt about the health of Manning, they have been put together but his season to date. Manning has returned to MVP form, and has his Broncos playing superbowl caliber...
I use my son to be a fan boy T

Here's an unpopular comparison....Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning. The fact is that there are startling similarities between Tim Tebow's 2011 Bronco team and Manning's 2012 version. Speaking honestly, Tebow's team was hardly being discussed as a potential Super Bowl contender and Peyton's boys are looking more and more like the real deal. As a thrower [...]
Though not facing each other, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning helped CBS to a double-digit increase for Sunday’s NFL national window. The Week 11 NFL national window, featuring Colts/Patriots, earned a 14.5 final rating and 23.6 million viewers on CBS — up 12% in ratings and 10% in viewership from coverage featuring Chargers/Bears last year (13.0, 21.5M), and up 2% and flat, respectively...

Happy Thanksgiving, fellow fans of our beloved Broncos franchise!
Stateside Broncoholics have plenty to be thankful for this holiday season. For a free country, for the brave men and women serving in our military, and for bacon.
Fans across the world can be grateful that our team has players like Peyton Manning and Von Miller. And you can also...
The New England Patriots didn't start the 2012 season with much of a bang. For many, losses to the Ravens, Cardinals, and Seahawks looked to show the weaknesses of a team on its way down in the power rankings. To make matters worse, the defense appeared just as suspect as 2011, casting more doubt on their ability to compete against the best teams in the AFC. With Peyton Manning...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Like a lot of locals, Steve Price went into fall Sundays wearing red and came out of them raking leaves and muttering obscenities. Before Week 1, hed even purchased the ultimate dude vanity item, a flat-screen TV explicitly for the man-cave. Hed branded himself an NFL lifer, having embraced 49ers games when he lived out west.
Then he met the 2012 Kansas City Chiefs...
Today is Thanksgiving but the only fans in the AFC West that are giving thanks are the Denver Broncos. Broncos fans are thankful that the organization got rid of Tim Tebow in favor of superstar Peyton Manning. Manning has paid off as the Broncos are 7-3 and firmly in control of the division. The San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Oakland Raiders have less to be thankful for...
