We can scratch another origin of Jevon Kearse's nickname, the Freak, off of the list. Apparently, he lacks a freakish ability to handle alcohol, and the cops noticed.

  • Odds are against Samuel Smith's Organic Lager being the Freak's drink of choice.
  • hahahahah thats funny
  • im glad he got busted! and it was in the morning too.. this guy is a 2 faced punk he was all talking junk on how our system was not good and all he had to do is get the qb not really hard of a system i guess he wanted something special? maybe convert him to a lb? like a lot of other dudes do? haha this dude is a chump we went to super bowl with him and he is just stupid now f$#* the freak
  • He shouldda weaved around an O lineman...then maybe he would have gotten charged with being a good player...
  • I think this is a terrible thing to have happened to Kearse. I still wish the Eagles had kept him. I can still remember the first game I saw in Philadelphia (I'm closer to St. Louis in living proximity) - it was the game two years ago where he blew out his knee. It was awful. And the Eagles should have given him the required two years to recover fully from such an injury.

Now, with Goodell's policy of treating the players like he's a strict, narrow-minded father, and they're all in high school - this type of thing gets blown way out of proportion. I think most of us have escaped being stopped while driving when we really shouldn't be behind the wheel (except for people like Goodell, of course), Kearse is only human, and yes, he made a mistake. Doesn't mean it needs to be blared all over the media and give him a bad reputation. I LIKE the Freak!
  • right on!i loved the freak! he was a great player and i agree with you that had he been allowed to heal ..he would have been able to play better..look how long it takes other players to get better from that injury
  • It was only a matter of time until this happend. He's now a part of the NFL elite in those that have gotten arrested. These past few seasons have been pretty crazy in terms of player misconduct off the field.
