The Washington Redskins will place
defensive end Kedric Golston
on injured reserve with a third-degree MCL tear and a partially torn ACL, and also will re-sign defensive end Darrion Scott, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
Golston suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Redskins 20-9 loss.
The sixth-year pro out of Georgia, who has spent all of his career with the Redskins, had 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble this season.

Washington Redskins defensive tackle Kedric Golston suffered an MCL injury in Sunday's loss at Miami.
Golston is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks.
Primarily a backup, Golston has 16 tackles and two sacks this season.

Hankerson dislocated the hip and tore the labrum in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 20-9 loss to Miami.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said safety LaRon Landry (Achilles), linebacker London Fletcher (ankle), receiver Niles Paul (toe) and guard Maurice Hurt (knee) all did not practice on Wednesday.
Safety Oshiomogho Atogwe (knee, toe) practiced fully, as did running back Tashard Choice (hamstring). Tackle Jammal Brown (groin), and tackle Sean Locklear (knee, ankle) were limited.
The Washington Redskins were without three starters for Wednesday’s practice and another two players that have started were limited, according to the team’s injury report.
Linebacker London Fletcher (ankle), strong safety LaRon Landry (achilles) and guard Maurice Hurt (knee) all were unable to practice.
