PLAYERS: Kellen Winslow
TEAMS: New York Jets
Thinking before speaking has never really been the forte of New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. The former first round pick of the Cleveland Browns, who has struggled through most of his career because of injuries, believes he is set to embark on his great season ever. Now, I’m not going to say that Winslow doesn’t possess talent, because he certainly does. However, he has only played in 16 games for 5 of is 8 seasons in the league. From Manish Mehta of the NYDN I averaged around 72,” Winslow told Mehta. “My job is to just make plays. When it comes my way, just make the play. I can exceed that. My goal is always to catch 100 balls. Haven’t done it yet, but that’s my goal. I want to come close See, we like to include every season, because part of your job is to stay healthy, regardless if you have much control over it. He averages 62. But his health isn’t our biggest concern. No no no, not even close. Here and here. Yep, [...]
