Baltimore Sun:
For the second consecutive day, Kelley Washington provided one of the more entertaining scenes of training camp when he performed his take on Ray Lewis’ pre-game dance.
After Washington hauled in a 20-yard pass from quarterback Troy Smith over cornerback Domonique Foxworth during a live, red zone drill, the seventh-year wide receiver danced like Lewis as his offensive teammates mobbed him in the rear left corner of the end zone. Washington then ran to Lewis and tapped him on the helmet, getting a similar gesture from the 10-time Pro Bowl linebacker in return.
“I do a similar type of dance. It’s called ‘The Squirrel,’” said Washington, who engaged cornerback Frank Walker in a brief verbal exchange on Monday. “But I do that just to get guys laughing and smiling. It’s not showing any type of arrogance or anything like that. Days like these, you need something to put a smile on your face.”
