There have been few positives for the Redskins in their 3-8 season, but second-year wide receiver Malcolm Kelly has shown some encouraging signs recently. Kelly had two catches for 50 yards in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. After losing the starting flanker position to fellow second-year wideout Devin Thomas earlier this season, Kelly remained focused and continued to work on his route-running, which was among the areas in which coaches said he needed the most improvement. Kelly and his teammates have not given up, he said, but it's not about effort. It's about winning. "You definitely see we have heart, just with the way guys are playing, but having heart isn't enough," Kelly said.
