Last June Tennessee Titans Wide Receiver Kenny Britt was arrested under charges on resisting arrest after two plainclothes officers suspected him to be carrying a marijuana cigar. They attempted to handcuff him at a Hoboken car was in New Jersey.
This was Britt’s second arrest in three months and it happened to fall on a day where earlier he went to court for a previous arrest on traffic charges. He has pleaded guilty in the past for his charges.
He did it again today. In a Hoboken Municipal Court Britt paid a downgraded charge of $1,500 fine and pleaded guilty to the charges from last June.
On top of these two charges Britt has have five other run-ins involving police since 2009 and faces many legal troubles in Tennessee.
Hopefully Britt can finally learn this off-season from all of these incidents and turn them into motivation to excel on the field. Tennessee really missed him this season…
