Found January 26, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
PLAYERS: Kenny Britt
TEAMS: Tennessee Titans
Pro Football Weekly mentions that they are hearing that 2013 will “very likely” be WR Kenny Britt‘s final season with the Titans. PFW points to the numerous off-the-field issues that Britt has been involved in as the main reason why they would look to move on. Tennessee reportedly still sees Britt as a “game-changing” talent, so there’s no guarantee that he’ll be playing elsewhere come 2014. Britt was taken No. 30 overall pick back in 2009 by the Titans. He has shown promise in recent years, but he’s coming off of an underwhelming season in 2012 that included two offseason knee surgeries. He’ll be a free agent after the season, so it will be important for him to put together a strong season if he hopes to secure a reasonable contract on the open market next year.   The post Kenny Britt “Very Likely” Entering His Final Year With The Titans appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

How the Titans were penalized in 2012

I'll have a post or two later this week on the all-22 from the season finale against the Jaguars, then we'll probably be starting our normal offseason positional analyses. Before that, though, I have a data dump-type post or two I want to run, and I'll start with the one today on penalties. Were the Titans a heavily-penalized team or one not hurt very much by penalties...
