According to TSN.ca, Williams was released by the Argonauts this past Friday.

Country star Kenny Chesney spent a day with the Seattle Seahawks prior to his Saturday night gig at CenturyLink Field.
“I met [Seattle coach] Pete [Carroll] a couple years ago,” Chesney explained to Country Weekly. “We kept in touch, and he asked me if I’d like to work out with the team.”
Chesney took part in offensive drills with the wide receivers.
