According to ESPNNewYork.com, Giants safety Kenny Phillips suffered a sprained MCL during Sunday’s loss to the Packers and will undergo further testing on Monday. Losing Phillips is a tough blow to the Giants defense, but rookie Tyler Sash did come in and play pretty well. According to ProFootballTalk.com, one league source indicated that Phillips will [...]

New York Giants starting center David Baas is a late scratch for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers because of headaches.
Baas was not on the team's injury report all week. Kevin Boothe, who started last week at left guard, moves to center and Mitch Petrus is set to play left guard in his first career start. New York also lost tackle Stacy Andrews on Saturday night...
The New York Giants played well against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but the outcome of the game resulted in another loss for the New York Giants as they cling to faint playoff hopes. Despite the loss, which moves the Giants to a 6-6 overall record, New York didn’t lose any ground in the playoff hunt with Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit all recording losses...

Grade the Giants' performance against the Packers
Ted Berg speaks with John Fennelly of GiantsFootballBlog.com to recap Big Blue’s loss to Green Bay.
Although the New York Giants fell short of a victory against the Green Bay Packers, Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks pulled off an impressive one-handed catch against Charles Woodson.
The catch was so impressive that Woodson gave Nicks a little dap after it:
- Lawrence Tynes knocked through a 50-yard field goal with room to spare to get the Giants to within one point. Jake Ballard had a key catch along the sideline to keep the drive alive on a perfectly thrown pass from Manning. Brandon Jacobs had some tough runs early in the drive.
- Charles Woodson has left the game after a helmet-to-helmet collision with Ahmad Bradshaw.
New York Giants offensive lineman Stacy Andrews' season is over due to pulmonary embolisms in both of his lungs.
In what looks like their hardest test left in the regular season, how will the Packers fare against a desperate Giants team?
Through 12 games in 2011, he’s thrown for 3,705 yards and 23 touchdowns with a 96.0 quarterback rating. He’s completing 62 percent of his passes and has his team sitting at second place in the NFC East. He’s ranks eighth among active players in career passing touchdowns and beat the 2007 Patriots on a heroic comeback drive on the game’s biggest stage.
Pretty impressive resume...
The Giants responded to the challenge given to them by everyone infuriated by the way they played against the Saints on Monday night and showed buckets of fight against the Packers.
Unfortunately, fight alone isn't enough to beat a team as good as Green Bay is this season. The Giants were in the game until the final minutes, but they couldn't find a way to avoid a 38-35...
Football Nation's Michael Stewart scours the New York Giants football record books and plucks out the best and worst trades in franchise history.
The Giants had to reshuffle their offensive line just hours before kickoff of yesterday’s 38-35 loss to the still-unbeaten Packers and the new look produced solid results.
The defeat was no fault of Kevin Boothe, who learned two hours before the game he would start at center, or Mitch...
