The New York Giants top wide receivers are not the favorites of the coaches right now. Tom Coughlin has expressed his disappointment in Hakeem Nicks all Spring, and most recently expressed his frustration this past week as mini-camp opened without Victor Cruz present. Now, the offensive coordinator is taking shots at both players while praising last year’s second-round pick, Rueben Randle. “Rueben you saw emerge from a guy that showed flashes at times and always caught the ball well, but maybe didn’t always run the routes as precisely, as crisply as you wanted, didn’t have quite the understanding you wanted,” Gilbride said, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com. “[Over the past month] he looked like a guy that’s been here for five or six years. He really benefited from the opportunity. The Giants were very excited about Randle when he was still available last year at the 63rd pick. The Giants graded him as a first-round pick.   • OK fine, get it off your chest and kiss and make up. The game has become a business and players are going to try to get as much as they can. It's all part of the process, now they need to get ready for the season and put this crap behind them.
