Cardinals HC Ken Whisenhunt told reporters on Monday that he expects to have QB Kevin Kolb back “sooner rather than later,” but wouldn’t offer a specific timetable for his return, per Darren Urban.
Kolb has been out for a few weeks now with a number of injuries. Since John Skelton has taken over, Arizona has dropped four straight games with Skelton producing 2 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions during this span.
The Cardinals will be on bye next week, so that should help Kolb’s chances of being ready to return at some point in the near future. It’s hard to say whether or not he has a chance at playing in Week 11, but he could be back in time for their Week 12 matchup against the Rams.
