Vikings QB Christian Ponder completed just 22 of 43 passes for 159 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He was sacked two times.
The Vikings passing attack was ineffective. The Bears did a solid job at rattling him at times in the Week 12 NFC North matchup.
However, the Bears need to generate more sacks and pressure from their defensive line because they haven't been getting the production they like to see from their defensive line as of late.
The Bears' defense currently ranks eighth in the NFL with 32 sacks on the season. They have produced 20 interceptions, 19 forced fumbles and 14 fumble recoveries.
Led by DE Julius Peppers (seven sacks) and DT Henry Melton (six sacks), the Bears' defensive line has been successful at times this season. Israel Idonije and Corey Wootton have combined for...

Bears vs. Vikings: PJD's Masturbatory "Is It Over Yet" Game Preview
How Many Boos Does Christian Ponder Get?
Does he get all the boos? Every single one? Will any of them be directed at Big Leslie or Bill Musgrave? I would think some of them would be, wouldn't you? When will they start? Right away? When the offense runs out on to the field? I bet they'll announce the defense to prevent that from happening. But as soon as the offense takes...

Adrian Peterson Wants to Break Eric Dickerson’s NFL Rushing Record

But Peterson won’t be happy with merely joining...

With his 101st reception on the season, Brandon Marshall has set the record for a single season's receptions, eclipsing Marty Booker's 100 receptions in the 2001 season. A top-flight wide receiver is something the Bears' franchise has lacked for a long time, and the acquisition of Marshall in the offseason for a third-round draft pick this year and a third-round draft...
