Found October 28, 2012 on Silver and Black Daily:
Its Chiefs week for the Raiders and the Raider Nation, and both teams need this win. All the better for this historic rivalry to continue. Coming off of a win last week against Jacksonville, the Raiders will look for their first back to back wins of the year, and get some momentum going as the AFC West race continues to [...]

Full Injury Report: Rollin’ 20 Deep

The Oakland Raiders this week have listed 20, yes 20, of their players on the final official injury report before Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs.  You’ll see key players like Darren McFadden, Matt Shaughnessy, and Sebastian Janikowski on the list.  Apparently Reggie McKenzie reads the news and would rather be safe than sorry after the Ravens were fined $20,000 for [...]

The seven best uniforms in the NFL today

Denver, CO. 2012 will bring a nice change for many die-hard Denver Broncos fans. After 15 years of having the predominantly navy blue jerseys for home games, the Broncos will be donning the orange for all home games going forward. A few years ago, John Elway and the organization petitioned the NFL for this change, … Continue reading » The post The 7 Best Uniforms In The NFL Today...

Was The Carson Palmer Experiment A Failure?

To no surprise, the media is still negative when it comes to the Oakland Raiders when mentioning the team. They have had a decade-long drought, but the media blasts them as if they were an annual playoff team the last couple of years and have just fallen off. As if they have nothing else to discuss, the Carson Palmer trade, which was made out of whack, is the centerpiece to all discussions...

Oakland Raiders roll to 26-16 win against Kansas City Chiefs

The Oakland Raiders controlled the game and breezed to a 26-16 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It is the six consecutive win for the Raiders in Kansas City. More importantly, Oakland picks up their first AFC West division win and move closer to the top of the standings. On the first play of the game, quarterback Carson Palmer dropped back and threw an interception to former Raider...

Raiders earn day off after 2nd straight win

The first convincing victory of the season was enough for coach Dennis Allen to give his Oakland Raiders players a welcome day off midway through the season. The 26-16 victory in Kansas City gave the Raiders two straight wins following a narrow loss at undefeated Atlanta as they are showing signs of hitting their stride following a rough opening month. The once-dormant running...

That’s My Quarterback

As the heat of the spotlight glare glistens off of my aviators, I have but one thing to say… THAT’S MY QUARTERBACK! (In Terrell Owens crying form) This is an interesting year to be a Raider. To go on and on about what has happened and who has come and gone would take all page. We all know of the [...]

Bennett gets 15 months for fraud

A former NFL first-round draft pick has been sentenced to more than a year in prison for taking part in a fraud scheme. Michael Bennett was sentenced to 15 months on Friday in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud three months ago. The 34-year-old Bennett was drafted 27th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in 2001 out of the University of Wisconsin...

Chiefs fall to Palmer-led Raiders

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Oakland Raiders made themselves right at home at Arrowhead Stadium. They're making a habit of it, too. Carson Palmer threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and the Raiders pounded the struggling Chiefs 26-16 on Sunday for their sixth straight on Kansas City's home turf. It was the Raiders' first road win since beating the Chiefs last December...

Raiders' ground game took off late in win over Chiefs

For one week, anyway, the Oakland Raiders' beleaguered running game delivered when it mattered most. Other than a Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, when Darren McFadden gained 113 yards on 19 carries, the Raiders' ground game hadn't done much other than gain a tough yard or two. Certainly there was none of the consistency or even occasional fireworks McFadden...
