I understand when you transition from a player to an analyst, you have to make changes on how you look at things. It is a different perspective from the other side of the camera.
With that being said, Keyshawn Johnson calling anyone “Hollywood” is comical.
“It’s a bad football team, and the quarterback doesn’t know if he’s coming or going,” Johnson said of Mark Sanchez. “One minute, he wants to be Hollywood. The next, he wants to be a quarterback. Can’t do both, son.”
Keyshawn, did both for many years, while being above average, but not a superstar wide receiver in the NFL. I don’t think Mark Sanchez being Hollywood (Peyton Manning does 10,000 commercials a year) is the problem. I think Keyshawn’s first sentence is the correct one.
There is no stability with the Jets, no playmakers, no offensive identity and that is the root of Sanchez’s problem, not that he is on the cover of GQ.

It seems like the New York Jets have been tied to nearly
every available quarterback this offseason, as questions continue to surround
the future and ability of Mark Sanchez. You can add another name to the list,

Gerard, according to Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News:

Wednesday afternoon the reasonably accurate Yahoo sports reporter Jason Cole suggested the Atlanta Falcons may make a run at a Jets player.
DON'T NAVIGATE AWAY, IT WAS REVIS!
More on Revis potentially ending in Atlanta, and absolutely nothing on Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez, after the jump.
Don’t be surprised if...
New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller hadn't missed a game or a practice until last season, the final year of his five-year rookie contract. Now, he's wondering if he'll get a chance to prove that it wasn't a fluke. Keller missed half of the 2012 season with hamstring and ankle issues, and the Jets' offensive production suffered. Much of quarterback Mark Sanchez...

It's early, but so far, Mark Sanchez need not be shaking in his boots. As the New York Jets begin their search for a veteran signal-caller to compete with Sanchez for the starting quarterback gig in 2013, the organization brought in free agent David Garrard for a workout Thursday, according to the NY Daily News. The 35-year-old Garrard hasn't seen a game in two years, having...
It appears that Mark Sanchez will know who his competitor is for next season.
A source familiar with the situation told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Friday that the Jets and David Garrard are working on a deal and should get it done once the Jets address some of their salary cap issues.
“Both sides are feeling good about a possible deal,” the source said to Schefter who...
What happened to Craig Sager’s head? Why was he wearing a bandage over his left eye during last night’s Lakers game? Cancerous tissue carved out of his head? Smacked by road beef? Beat up after a tennis match at the country club? Cat scratched the sideline reporter?
All good guesses. We do know he’s been wearing the bandage away from the court while rolling with his homies...
