I understand when you transition from a player to an analyst, you have to make changes on how you look at things. It is a different perspective from the other side of the camera. With that being said, Keyshawn Johnson calling anyone “Hollywood” is comical. “It’s a bad football team, and the quarterback doesn’t know if he’s coming or going,” Johnson said of Mark Sanchez. “One minute, he wants to be Hollywood. The next, he wants to be a quarterback. Can’t do both, son.” Keyshawn, did both for many years, while being above average, but not a superstar wide receiver in the NFL. I don’t think Mark Sanchez being Hollywood (Peyton Manning does 10,000 commercials a year) is the problem. I think Keyshawn’s first sentence is the correct one. There is no stability with the Jets, no playmakers, no offensive identity and that is the root of Sanchez’s problem, not that he is on the cover of GQ.
