Running back Knowshon Moreno will be fighting for a roster spot with the Broncos in training camp, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post.
Fantasy Spin:
Moreno has displayed terrible durability so far in his NFL career since being selected with the No. 12 pick in the 2009 Draft, and has also proven he cannot handle a featured role in Denvers offense.
Willis McGahee and rookie Ronnie Hillman are projected to hold the top two spots on the depth chart, with Moreno battling Lance Ball and Mario Fannin for the No. 3 role.
As a side note, Hillman is expected to contribute right away, and impressed the Broncos with his flashy receiving skills in OTAs. The third-rounder out of San Diego St. will be a hot ticket in the late rounds of fantasy drafts, while Morenos stock is on the decline.

Is Knowshon Moreno done in Denver?
DENVER- When Knowshon Moreno came out of the University of Georgia early, it deflated the program’s offense but he had simply athletically outgrown the collegiate level of competition.
Going into his fourth year as a pro, it appears that Moreno could be one of those performers that sits not-so-nicely between the NCAA ranks and the NFL.

Apparently Denver Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson has been busy — eating. He’s probably eating a gallon-size bowl of chili even as you read this.

Knowshon Moreno Odd Man Out in Broncos Backfield?
The Denver Broncos are undoubtedly going to throw the ball far more often – and with much greater success – in 2012 with Peyton Manning at quarterback than they did with Tim Tebow in 2011. That much is certain.
But while that may sound like good news strictly for players such as Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker, it is also music to the ears of the running backs, who now do not...

On Friday, Lindsey Jones of the Denver Post made an appearance on ESPN’s NFL32 and indicated that Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno is ”fighting for a roster spot” this offseason, per Rotoworld.com.
With the fact that Moreno has done anything but lived up to being a former first round pick, other running backs on the Broncos roster have out performed him.
Peyton Manning’s teaching skills are overrated
Denver Broncos’ players and coaches have raved about Peyton Manning’s teaching skills and leadership ability during the team’s OTAs. Manning has spent a lot of time during the team’s practices instructing players on how he plans to run the offense. This is one of the reasons why wide receivers play so well under Manning’s leadership. He makes sure they are in the right...

Manning 'felt good' during first practice
Peyton Manning was back on the field Monday and looked like his old self. Denver Broncos Greatest Defensive Plays: #5

As I sorted out my top Denver Broncos defensive plays it was rather easy at first, until I got to the fifth and final spot. My efforts were severely hampered by a lack of video of some of the plays I had on my short list. I figured, heck with it, I’ll just pick my favorite defensive play from last season. The play itself was significant...

Knowshon Moreno on roster bubble for Broncos
Knowshon Moreno was the 12th pick of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos by Josh McDaniels, but like most of McDaniels’ picks, Moreno has yet to pan out. Moreno has been plagued by injuries and has not been that good when healthy in 3 years with the team. When hurt last year, he lost his starting job for good to Willis McGahee and the Broncos’ new regime clearly doesn...
