Knowshon Moreno went from first round pick, to draft bust, and now he’s riding the wheels off a second chance. Fortunately for Moreno, the chance comes with the same team that drafted him. The former Georgia Bulldog didn’t perform up to standards his few years in Denver, allowing Willis McGahee to surpass him as the lead back. However, in 2012, McGahee suffered a season ending knee injury, opening the door for Moreno. He was benched and was ruled inactive for 8 straight weeks until McGahee went down, however, upon his return he looked like a different runner. In his first game as lead back Moreno put up solid numbers, rushing for 87 yards on 20 carries and catching four passes for 26 yards. Two games later in an away game against the Oakland Raiders, Moreno rushed for 119 yards on a career-high 32 carries and recorded a touchdown. He also had 4 catches for 48 yards in the game. The next step is the playoffs and Moreno knows that Ray Lewis will be waiting for him in the middle of the field. Moreno spoke to 102.3 the Ticket in Denver with Les and Nalen about Lewis and how being inactive helped him. “He brings that spark to their defense. He is a competitor and he’s a great player but at the same you still have to execute. Whoever goes out there and executes the gameplan and makes those plays that they need to do to hopefully come out with a win. I guess that spark that he brings or whatever can only last so long and then it comes back down to football.” On being on the scout team: “It helped me running scout team because we’re running against our defense. Just going against them and reading it out that helped. I think the time I had just growing, being in the league for a bit and being able to just slow down and use my eyes a little more and let things develop and then hit it as fast as I can was the main thing.”   var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

File this one under creepy. A man in the Denver area is selling panties on Craigslist. According to his listing, they once belonged to his girlfriend, and she had Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas sign them. The listing also refers to them as “stripper panties,” which begs the question is if Thomas signed them while she was wearing them? Pretty impressive if he did...

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos: Divisional Round Pick

Both the Patriots and Broncos are both around 9.5 point favorites against the Texans and Broncos respectively. Both teams blew out their current opponent late in the same season. I took the points with the Texans because I thought the line was too big, but I’m not going to do the same thing here for several reasons. The Texans and Patriots play a same site rematch. Non-divisional...
