Pro Football Zone:
According to Kevin Fishbain of ProFootballWeekly.com, cornerback Kyle Arringon has really surprised the Patriots this year, since he came into the preseason and won a starting job for the third straight season. The thought was that Ras-I-Dowling would beat him out.
“Kyle, he’s put together well now. He’s 195 pounds or whatever it may be,”said Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio. “I mean he’s maybe a bit short (listed at 5-foot-10) but he’s strong, he’s got good playing speed; very mentally tough.
“There’s a guy that’s really improved from the time that he started here. … He’s put in a lot of work and it’s really a credit to him and the coaching staff that he’s been able to make himself into a pretty good player.”
The Patriots’ cornerbacks really struggled last season. They need their guys to step up this season.

Logan Mankins has been a question mark for some time with the Patriots.
New England's perennial Pro Bowl left guard underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, and no one with the Patriots - including Mankins - truly knew how long a recovery process it would take.
As such, the opener at Tennessee has been in doubt for a good long...
The AFC East will be one of the weakest divisions in 2012, with only the New England Patriots posing any kind of threat to go deep in the playoffs. However, even the Patriots will not be as dominant as they have been in years past due to a below average offensive line, a concept that was previously foreign to Tom Brady.Over the last decade, the formula for having success against...
Patriots Third Down Defense: 5/14 = 35% (solid)
Patriots Red Zone Defense: 0 TDs allowed in 2 attempts = very solid
Hard not to be impressed with the speed and physicality we saw, especially out of the rookie defenders. Maybe it’s a bit early but initially it looks like the Pats D has turned a corner.

Tom Brady was left with a bloody nose after being sacked by Kamerion Wimbley in the second quarter of Sunday’s Patriots-Titans game. Wimbley chased down Brady who was trying to escape the pressure by rolling to his right, and the linebacker clawed him with a paw that went through the facemask. Brady put his hand toward his nose immediately, knowing that he was hurt. Since that...
As if Tom Brady didn't have it good enough. The guy has multiple Super Bowl rings, a supermodel wife, millions in the bank, and a head of hair that makes Matt Hasselbeck green with envy. For those of you who still believe that life is fair and that nothing this good lasts forever, I’m sorry to inform you that things have actually gotten better for Brady in the last year...
No one can seem to get over how many tight ends the Pats have on the roster this year, but if we...

Patriots at Titans preview (by CBSSports)
Wes Welker started his 2012 season with 3 catches for a whopping 14 yards. While Welker did under perform, there are quite a few mouths to feed on that offense. Welker is going to get his share but I expect a small drop off in production this year.

QB Tom Brady
Fantasy owners invested top dollar to get Brady in drafts and auctions, and for good reason. He’ll start to deliver on that investment this week, but it would be wise to temper expectations to 3 TDs and around 300 yards. The Titans could fall behind early, which might limit the number of pass attempts in the second half. However, if the Titans can hang around...
The inactives are out for today's game at noon at LP Field between the Titans and the Patriots and here they are for the Patriots:
DE Jake Bequette, CB Alonzo Dennard, TE Daniel Fells, DL Marcus Fortson, DE Justin Francis, G Nick McDonald, RB Shane Vereen
Vereen was out on the injury report, while McDonald, Dennard, and Fells were questionable. Right tackle Sebastian...
Titans quarterback Jake Locker was under pressure most of the day Sunday as he gets sacked and stripped by Chandler Jones
The Patriots impressed on both offense and defense Sunday in their dominating win over the Titans Sunday. The offense looked like the well-oiled machine it was last year, lead by Tom Brady, who completed 23 of 31 pass attempts for 236 yards and 2 touchdowns, throwing...
