Hitting The Bricks…The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) heads to Indianapolis, Ind. this weekend for the Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Kyle Larson will be making his first start at the famed 2.5-mile oval. 3 Races, 3 States, 1 Week…When Larson gets to Indy, it will cap his week-long tour of three races in three states. He began the week by competing in the NNS race at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, July 21. He will take a break from the NNS to race in the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday, July 24 before heading to Indianapolis for the Indiana 250. Flying High…Cessna returns as primary sponsor on the No. 32 this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The last time Larson’s Camaro sported the Cessna paint scheme, the young driver came up just one spot short, finishing in the runner-up position at Michigan International Speedway. Cessna, the world’s leading general aviation company, has designed, produced and delivered more than 193,500 airplanes around the globe. This includes more than 6,300 Citation business jets, making it the largest fleet of business jets in the world. This Week’s Camaro…Crew chief Trent Owens and the No. 32 Cessna team have prepared chassis TSM-403 for competition this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Larson has not previously raced TSM-403, as it is a brand-new chassis from the Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) stable. Stop By…Larson will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs on Saturday, July 27 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. EDT at the NNS autograph session, which will be located in the Pavilion. He will also make an appearance alongside his TSM teammates at the Chevy stage at 2:15 p.m. EDT on Saturday. Watch and Listen…The Indiana 250 can be seen live on Saturday, July 27 on ESPN, with race coverage beginning at 4:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on IMS Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90. Previous Race Recap…Larson made his debut in the Windy City last Sunday, making his first laps of competition at Chicagoland Speedway. Larson and the No. 32 International team honed in on the setup of their Chevy Camaro throughout the 200-lap event and led four laps on their way to earning a 12th-place finish. Kyle Larson on Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “I am really excited to race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There are just some tracks that we go to that you get a little more excited to run, and Indy is one of those tracks for me. I’ve never raced there, so it will be extra special to get to compete there for the first time. Hopefully we will be able to get a strong finish in our Cessna Chevy and make our first time out one to remember.” -Turner Scott Motorsports PR
