As the old saying goes, “As Lawerence Tynes goes so do the New York Giants”…and this week was no different. The Giants were able to hold off a fierce attack as Tony Romo was throwing balls right at defenders with no mercy.
Tynes has had a fabulous season and the Giants are off to a good start. He is 24-26 on the season from field goal range with his only two misses being from outside of 40 yards. He was able to hold off the Cowboys on Sunday with 5 fg’s, with a long of 43. We all know that the secret to success is a great kicking game and the Giants have a great weapon. His 4th quarter scoring was the only scoring of the quarter as he single handedly embarassed the hapless Cowboys and their ridiculous D-Coordinator Rex Ryan with a Wig. This is Tynes second Vanderjacked Weekly Award of the season, after not winning one last year. It’s clear he has one goal in mind and that is hold that amazing trophy at the end of the year!
and with games like last week he will certainly be in the running! So congrats to the “Pride of Troy (college)” or “Giant from Greenock (Florida)”Lawerence Tynes on getting Vanderjacked!

Following the Cowboys' controversial loss to the rival Giants, Dallas' QB says he understands why their fans were upset and that they had every right to boo the team.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has thrown nine interceptions in his last two games at Cowboys Stadium with four coming in Sunday's 29-24 loss to the New York Giants. The franchise quarterback that has never tossed more than 19 picks in a season is on pace to throw 30 this year.
At 32, critics are wondering out loud if Romo should be the Cowboys' quarterback of the future...
If you look at Tony Romo's statistics, you might wonder why the Cowboys aren't Super Bowl contenders every year. To cop a phrase from Bill Belichick, sometimes "stats are for losers." And the Cowboys will be losers for as long as Romo is under center.
The problem with the Cowboys' quarterback is that you have no idea who you're getting...
Throughout his career in Big D, Tony Romo has heard just about every criticism one could muster up. And though teammates, former coaches, and fellow gunslingers have, at one point or another, come to his defense, he calls it like he sees it. What Romo saw in Sunday’s loss to the division-rival Giants was more [...]
A person can only give Tony Romo the benefit of the doubt for so long. By now, we are long past extending our sympathy to an unskilled player who is not reaching standards with a demanding, heavy scrutinized franchise, as we should be with a man who continues to make the same mistakes and not learn from his boo-boos.
Romo is playing for the wrong team, an organization not committed...
Fans bashed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on Twitter thanks to his four interceptions against the New York Giants on Sunday. The Giants beat the Cowboys 29-24. In fact, the Giants jumped to a 23-0 lead and that drove Dallas fans crazy. The Dallas Morning News collected a few hysterical tweets as the Cowboys were imploding:
The Dallas Cowboys almost executed victory down 23 points to the Giants on Sunday. With six seconds left, Romo found Dez Bryant in the back of the end zone. Unfortunately Bryant couldn’t keep his entire body in bounds as his hand landed out. Right call by the refs.
The Dallas Cowboys have a big fancy stadium. They have an owner who likes to throw around money to his team and himself (face-lifts aren't for free), and generally everything the Cowboys do seems to make headlines. The New York Giants are used to the headlines from playing in the Big Apple, to being the defending Super Bowl Champions. On Sunday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington...
In recent years, lucky animals have played a huge part in Major League Baseball teams’ World Series runs, from the Anaheim Angels of Anaheim Los Angeles Angels’ Rally Monkey to the St. Louis Cardinals’ classier and more intelligent Rally Squirrel. This year, the World Champion San Francisco Giants had a much less heralded but equally important furry good luck charm in a rare...
The Dallas Cowboys once again mid themselves mired in mediocrity at the mid-season mark of the NFL regular season. Another season of underachieving begs the question, are Jason Garrett and Tony Romo in the long term plans for the Dallas Cowboys? Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told reporters this past offseason that he felt that the window was closing on a potential...

Today’s Giants-Cowboys had a thrilling ending. Quarterback Tony Romo threw up a hail mary that Dez Bryant ended up catching. It was ruled a touchdown, but the officials ended up … Continue reading »
The Dallas Cowboys are nicknamed America’s team, and you figure American sports fans know how to properly cheer for their team. But just in case the fans were unsure, the Cowboys sent them an email providing instructions.
Here’s what the email to the team’s season ticket holders said (via ESPN Dallas’ Tim McMahon):
Dear [Season Ticket Holder],
Sunday we need every Dallas...

The good news for the Cowboys is that they rank 8th in yards per play differential and 7th in rate of sustaining drives differential. The biggest issue, by far, has been turnover differential so far for them, as they have a turnover differential of -11, 2nd worst in the NFL. The good news is that turnover differentials are incredibly inconsistent, as...

Before the regular season began, I hoped the Seahawks could be 4-4 halfway through the season. They could have very well been 3-5, or 2-6 -- They played five games on the road; their three home games...
