Las Vegas Raiders will move their training camp to Southern California
Candice Ward-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders have reached an agreement with the city of Costa Mesa, California, on a one-year agreement to hold training camp there at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex for the 2024 season.

"I look forward to partnering with the Raiders, a quality organization," Costa Mesa Mayor John Stephens said. "And I know we at the city are a quality organization as well."

Many Las Vegas locals are upset that the Raiders are moving their training camp from Las Vegas to Southern California. Still, the truth is that the Raiders practice facility was never meant to hold training camp there where fans could watch.

It was meant for a place where the Raiders could be year-round outside of camp. Since they are there 24/7, why not move to a different city that is part of the L.A. Metro area?

The L.A. area has a rich history with the Las Vegas Raiders, as they were in L.A. after their first move from Oakland. So, there are probably a lot of Raiders fans still in that area, and maybe some that can't afford to make it to the regular season games.
