The last of the 2012 rookie class has signed his deal. Linebacker Dont’a Hightower, the 25th pick overall, agreed to a four-year contract with a team option for a fifth.
Dont’a tweeted yesterday, wanting “to (thank) everyone who has helped me reach my dream.”
The sigining is good news for all involved, as rookies are reporting to training camp today. According to the Boston Herald, the reason the deal took a while was the issue of guaranteed money.

The New England Patriots signed first-round draft choice Dont'a Hightower on Thursday to a four-year contract.
