Broncos RB Laurence Maroney was arrested late Monday night after the Infiniti Q56 SUV he was a passenger in was pulled over by St. Louis police following the Rick Ross concert at the Chaifetz Arena.
A search of the vehicle yielded a weed and three guns. Cops arrested five individuals in the SUV on drug and weapons charges, one of which is presumed to be Maroney, based on the fact that one of the men arrested was 25 (as is Maroney), and had a permit to carry a concealed weapon (according to Maroney’s publicist he has one).
Maroney’s publicist stated that this is just a case of wrong place, wrong time, and that the Denver running back was never arrested for drugs. She did however say that yes, Maroney did indeed have a gun on him, but as mentioned before, had a permit to carry it.
