Inside the Bills:
Bills ILB Andra Davis assessed where the defense is at in their assimilation to the 3-4 system of defensive coordinator George Edwards after three preseason games.
“We’ve played against three really good quarterbacks with [Donovan] McNabb, Peyton [Manning] and Carson [Palmer],” said Davis. ”So, it’s not one group, it’s everybody. We’ve got to get a better pass rush. We’ve got to have tighter coverage. Everything is hand-in-hand. It’s not one spot. We’re all in it together. When we all do good, we all look good. When we look bad, we all look bad together. We’re in this together.”
Davis admitted that the defense did give up some plays that they can’t afford to give up in the regular season, but overall felt the defense did okay on Saturday night.
