Donald Lee isn’t sure exactly what the Bengals will be asking him to do but the ninth-year tight end said Wednesday he is ready to fill whatever role the team needs of him. “I try to approach every day by working hard and leading by example,” said Lee, who was signed by the Bengals Wednesday morning. “I’ve got versatility and feel I can do whatever they ask of me. I’m here to help this team win.” Lee joins starter Jermaine Gresham and rookie Colin Cochart on the roster. He fills the void left by the loss of Bo Scaife to a neck injury suffered in the preseason against Carolina. Scaife is on season-ending injured reserve. Gresham caught a team-high six passes in last Sunday’s 27-17 win at Cleveland, including a 2-yard touchdown that gave the Bengals a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
