Robert Griffin III is an exceptional talent, one that can’t be compared right? Kirk Cousins the other rookie quarterback filled in quite nicely in an offense built for RG3’s skill set. There’s no QB controversy, but it is nice to know that the Redskins nailed both QB picks in the draft. That being said, the former Michigan State Spartan, Cousins isn’t a slouch by any stretch and the Redskins faithful caught a flashing moment that maybe they have two top notch quarterbacks. Receiver Leonard Hankerson seems too thing think the two young quarterbacks have a lot in common than one would think. Hankerson spoke to ESPN 980 in Washington D.C. with the Sports about the difference between RG3 and Cousins. “I honestly don’t think it was that much different at all because both of those guys are high energy guys, they both come in the huddle with a whole lot of confidence, they talk to us a lot and I think they pretty much come in the same way. Even though Kirk hasn’t been a starter for the past 13 games, he always in practice, he always comes in with high intensity and he talks to us all the same like he has been the starter. Kirk, he’s a guy that prepares hard each and every week like he is the starter and it obviously showed on Sunday.” var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

Photo: Kirk Cousins is ashamed of his new haircut

After leading the Redskins to a win on Sunday, quarterback Kirk Cousins decided to get a hair cut. Things did not go as planned for Cousins at the barber. “I get in there and I sit down, and the lady, I don’t really understand her because she’s not speaking English that clearly,”he told the Washington Post. “There was a communication breakdown of some kind. Kirk Cousins had a mohawk for a minute, then a buzzcut (PHOTO)

Former Michigan State and current Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is as straight-laced a kid as they come.  If you know anything him, you know that a mohawk wouldn’t suit him…at all.  But Wednesday, that’s exactly what he got after a little mix-up in the barber’s chair.  And while the ‘hawk is gone, he’s still apologizing to his family for how he looks...
