Philadelphia Eagles stud running back LeSean McCoy has made it a habit to take shots at the Dallas Cowboys at least once a year, and he usually backs it up on the field.
Before their week 17 game last year, won by the Eagles 24-22, Shady dubbed the Cowboys “Cowgirls.” He ran for 131 yards that game. Now he’s at it again.
“I own Dallas,” McCoy told a gaggle of Eagles fans on Thursday, per Philly.com’s Jimmy Kempski…
It’s early to start calling out opponents, but McCoy sees what we see: A Cowboys defense that lacks any scent of a pass rush inside a shaky front seven stripped of Sean Lee, DeMarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher.
The only solace Dallas can take from this is that McCoy pretty much owns every team he faces, as he is nipping at the heels of Adrian Peterson for the title of the NFL’s best running back.
The Eagles and Cowboys play their first game of the 2014 season on Thanksgiving afternoon, and Shady has already made it a game worth tuning in
