Since receiver Percy Harvin was placed on IR December 15th with a severely sprained ankle, he's been away from the team, choosing to rehab on his own at his home in Florida.
Of the people Ben Goessling of the Pioneer Press asked, head coach Leslie Frazier hasn't heard from him in a while, Adrian Peterson said he and Harvin bounced a few test messages back and forth, and OL Charlie Johnson said he hasn't talked to him at all.
"It's purely up to him," Frazier said Wednesday. "If he wanted to be around, he can be around. The guys are working hard, doing everything they can. I know he wants our team to do well, and that's important. But we've got some other guys on IR that aren't around, as well. It doesn't concern us."
We're sure Frazier would prefer the distance between the two at this time. As they prepare for their playoff matchup with the Green Bay Packers, Frazier, and the entire team for that matter, would not prefer any distractions.
