Left guard Kory Lichtensteiger missed practice with a sprained left ankle Wednesday as the Washington Redskins held their first practice for the playoffs.
Lichtensteiger was hurt in the third quarter of Sunday's NFC East-clinching win over the Dallas Cowboys.
''I wish I was doing better, but it's the hand I'm dealt,'' Lichtensteiger said. ''I really want to be out there, and I'm going to give it everything I can to be out there, but who knows at this point?''
Third-round pick Josh LeRibeus, who played 21 snaps in relief during the Redskins' 274-yard rushing effort against the Cowboys, would likely make his first NFL start if Lichtensteiger can't go this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
