Sounds like Chez had a better practice yesterday afternoon, along with Kellen’s more consistent performance according to Cimini.
After a couple of poor days, Mark Sanchez rallied a little today with the second-team offense. He wasn’t lights-out, but he was more like the Sanchez from the pre-season opener. In 11-on-11, he was 5-for-10, with no TDs and no interceptions. He finest moments occurred in a 9-on-9 drills, when he threw back-to-back long touchdowns to RB Danny Woodhead and WR Marcus Henry.
Kellen Clemens continued his strong recent play, hitting six for eight passes with a touchdown — a perfectly thrown, 9-yard corner route to WR Jerricho Cotchery.“Both of them responded well today,” Ryan said. “Mark had a couple of deep ones, although you could’ve counted a bunch of ‘Mississippis” on one of them.”
As much as I’d like things to be decided quickly so that the named starter can get the most reps with the first...
