Lions activate WR Kalif Raymond from reserve/COVID-19 list

The Detroit Lions only have one game left in their loss-filled season. It appears that they could be getting back one of their better offensive weapons for their Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday.

Raymond is in his first season with the Lions, after splitting his first four NFL seasons between the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. The 27-year-old had spent most of his time on the field as a kickoff and punt returner prior to 2021, compiling 53 kick returns for 1,086 yards and 77 punt returns for 699 yards in 50 career games.

Raymond has not served as a kickoff returner this season and has brought back 21 punts for a career-high 236 yards. In 15 games this season, he's started a career-high 13, while also shattering his previous career-best marks in targets (66), receptions (44), receiving yards (475) and receiving touchdowns (three).

He is second on the team in touchdown receptions, third in receiving yards and fourth in targets and receptions. The Lions host the Green Bay Packers at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.
