Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press writes that free agent RB Reggie Bush “has emerged as one of the Lions’ top targets” this offseason.
Birkett previously mentioned that Detroit’s interest in Bush was “real,” and there’s been speculation tying him to the Lions for a few months now.
Bush, 27, isn’t expected to be back with the Dolphins, unless he’s willing to accept a pay cut, which is fairly unlikely given that he should find at least a decent amount of interest in the next few weeks.
The Bengals have also been tossed out as a potential landing spot. We have Bush listed as the No. 41 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
