The Detroit Lions could be without both of their starting
cornerbacks during their Monday night matchup with the Chicago Bears, reports Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.
Bill Bentley (shoulder) and Jacob Lacey (concussion)
didn’t practice on Thursday. If they can’t play on Monday night, the
Lions could have a hard time containing the Chicago passing attack.
Detroit may have even more issues in their secondary, as
safety Louis Delmas also didn’t practice due to a lingering knee problem,
though Florio notes this could have just been as a precaution.
Six other players were limited during practice Thursday,
including defensive end Cliff Avril (back), tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee),
linebacker Stephen Tulloch (knee), defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee),
wide receiver Titus Young (knee), and defensive end Ronnell Lewis (eye).
