According to Terry McCormick of Titan Insider, Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz didn’t directly rule out being interested in Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan as a possible free agent acquisition.
While dodging questions on whether or not he’s interested in Finnegan, Schwartz did say that the Lions are focused on signing their own free agents and they “would be open” to signing outside free agents as well.
I believe the Lions need a lot of help at the cornerback position and would be wise to bring in Finnegan if he does hit the open market.

After six seasons with the Tennessee Titans, could cornerback Cortland Finnegan's time with the Titans be coming to an end? From the sounds of it that very well could be the case. And if he hits the open market, he certainly would be an upgrade for any team in need of improvements in the secondary.
