fbkid15's Blog:
Lions rookie quarterback Drew Stanton is going to miss the first season of his NFL career after getting arthroscopic knee surgery. Stanton a second round pick this year, started at Michigan State for 2 and a half years and passed for over 6,000 yards. He is also very athletic and 1,500 yards rushing in his college career. Stanton is viewed by the Lions quarterback of the future and could start in a few years. With the news of Stanton's injury, Dan Orlovsky will back up Jon Kitna for now and could be a good backup fantasy quarterback if Kitna goes down.
