Lions sign free agent lineman Milford Brown

The Lions are adding another big body on the offensive line for training camp, signing veteran free agent Milford Brown, a 6-foot-5, 330-pounder, to a one-year contract, according to his agent. Brown played in six games -- starting four of them -- last year for Jacksonville after spending the previous three seasons as a regular starter in St. Louis, Arizona and Houston, where he began his NFL career in 2002.
