Lito Sheppard wants a new contract, He's not getting it. Ask Westbrook. If Brain Westbrook didn't get a new deal after leading the NFL in all purpose yards, 3rd in rushing and generally carrying the offense for the last 3 seasons Lito doesn't have a chance. the Eagles expect all players to honor their contracts. Not helping Lito Sheppards case is the fact he can't play more than 12 games a year. I like Sheldon at safety as much as anybody but when Lito is on the sideline cryin about his injuries for 4-8 games a year is Sheldon gonna go back to CB? Is the Nickel gonna become the #2 and the #4 be the nickel? The only chance Lito has of staying in Philly is if he shuts up and plays the nickel. Often injured and asking for more money look for Lito Sheppard to be traded for a wide receiver this off-season.
