Former Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was released from federal prison overnight, so lock up your dogs.  I just can’t get the image of Fly Guy getting out of the slammer from the classic 80’s ‘blacksploitation’ flick I’m Gonna Get You Sucka out of my head.  Luckily, YouTube had a clip for me to share. Fox Sports had an interesting round panel discussion about where Vick might end up, and most signs seem to point to a 2010 comeback, although Alex Marvez thought Vick might be an interesting fit in Seattle: I think Vick would be an intriguing fit in Seattle. Starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is at a crossroads in his career coming off a back injury at age 33. There is a prior relationship between Vick and new Seahawks coach Jim Mora from when both were in Atlanta. Plus, the media frenzy that would surround Vick would be less in the Pacific Northwest compared to other NFL media markets. Seriously, Alex?  With all of the tree huggers out in Seattle, you think Vick would be a good fit?  Ya right!  As a Bears fan, I’m glad we’re not in the discussion.  I guess that’s another benefit of landing Jay Cutler.  Say what you want about Vick, at least there’s some interest and consideration around the league.  Former Bear QB Rex Grossman is still looking for work and is apparently trying out for the UFL.   YIKES!  And he was our starting QB in Super Bowl XLI two years ago!?!?!  Best of luck Rex! BEAR DOWN!!!
