Center Scott Wells said his injured knee was so swollen on Tuesday he couldn't even get into a stance, but he made enough progress the past 24 hours to take a full practice load today and is listed as probable for Thursday's game at Detroit."I had a lot of swelling in it Monday and Tuesday," Wells said. "So, basically we waited for the swelling to go down so I could bend it again. Nothing’s torn. MRI was clear. So, it’s just, there was a whole bunch of fluid in there and it swelled up pretty big and I couldn’t get in a stance (Tuesday)."Wells isn't sure exactly how he sustained the injury in Sunday's win over San Francisco but assumes he took a hit on the knee.
