Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher told The Washington Post that he still doesn’t know if he plans on playing next season or if he’s ready to retire after a long NFL career. “It’s still a process,” Fletcher said. “Understand I do this every year,  probably the last four or five years. It’s just when you get older in your career, you have to evaluate everything. Health is one thing. Can I still do it at the level that I want to do it at and play at?  So this year is no different than those years in the past.” Fletcher was asked if he can imagine himself not playing football. “I think we all, as athletes, have to imagine ourselves not playing football,” he said. “If you don’t picture yourself not playing, then you won’t be prepared. So obviously I have thought about that. I have thought about that for a number of years. So it’s just a matter of taking it one day at a time. It’s a process, again. I’m not going to rush anything, just continue to see how I feel.”

Redskins fan gets to name son after RG3

A couple comprised of a Cowboys fan and a Redskins fan allowed the outcome of the teams' game on Thanksgiving determine the name of their baby.

Robert Griffin III – All In For Week 1 (VIDEO)

Adidas’ latest commercial has the Redskins’ Robert Griffin III saying “blow it all up…because all that matters is what you do next.” I love the sentiment of this commercial. Essentially he is saying it doesn’t matter what you have done in the past, what matters is what you do in the future. It doesn’t matter that Griffin took the league by storm, won rookie of the year...

Redskins fan’s son will be named after Robert Griffin III after winning bet

If you’ve heard it once, you’ve heard it a million times before: An expecting couple who root for rival NFL teams allow the outcome of a football game between their respective favorite squads determine what they will name their son. Actually, that has probably never occurred, which makes this story all the more compelling. Saying he’s a “Big enough to name my son after RGIII...

Redskins’ Jim Haslett accidentally records himself with an iPod at an Apple store (Video)

Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett visited a local Apple store and had trouble turning off an iPod and accidentally recorded himself. It looks like Haslett isn’t the most tech savvy person. You might be wondering why I posted this.  Well I thought it was funny and kind of interesting and I could post it. So why not? Report: Pierre Garcon won’t need foot surgery

According to John Keim of the Washington Examiner, Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will not need to undergo foot surgery.  The good news is that he’s expected to be 100 percent healthy for next season. If the foot had been that bad, Garcon likely would have needed surgery during the season or shortly after it ended. But the Redskins and Garcon wanted to see how his foot...

Report: Fred Davis ahead of schedule with his Achilles rehab

According to The Washington Post, Redskins tight end Fred Davis is currently ahead of schedule with his rehab after tearing his Achilles tendon this past season. Davis will become a free agent when the new league year begins on March 12th.  But the Redskins don’t plan on making a decision about his future until later in the spring.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {};...

Let’s Talk About That Infamous 2004 ‘Redskins’ Poll

Another day, another round of skirmishes over the Redskins name. Today’s sally is led by Tom Garrett, founding father of a “culture and society” blog called, whose post for that site got a signal boost by being re-posted as a “Special to” over on Hogs Haven. Garrett offers a lengthy, sesquipedalian defense of the Redskins team name, marshaling various avenues...

Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett left befuddled by iPod (video)

It’s not the funniest thing ever, but the sight of Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett being left befuddled by an iPod at a Best Buy certainly is worth a chuckle. Apparently, Haslett was perusing some electronics at the Best Buy in Sterling, Va. and after activating the record function on an iPod, was rendered incapable of figuring out how to stop the dadgum...

Robert Griffin III Won’t Compromise NFL Career With Speedy Return, Even if New Commercial Says Otherwise

Robert Griffin III is on the comeback trail, and he’s willing to do anything to be back on the field for the Redskins in Week 1. Well, almost anything. Griffin blew up on the football field last season, which Adidas highlights in their newest TV ad, but so did his knee. So, while the Redskins rookie sensation does intend to be back on the field for the season opener in Week 1,...

RG3 Says He Won’t Compromise His Career to Start Week 1

Robert Griffin III, just like Derrick Rose or any athlete before him, should take his time before coming back from a major knee injury. Everyone can’t be Adrian Peterson. There is a lot of pressure on RG3 to be ready when the season starts and while some of that comes from fans and media, I [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Watch: RGIII ‘All in for Week 1′ Commercial

We’ve seen plenty of commercials in Robert Griffin III’s young NFL career thus far, and a complete knee reconstruction won’t stop him from getting back on the field – or from doing commercials. In a new commercial for Adidas, one of RGIII’s many endorsement deals, he shows up in a video suggesting to “blow it all up”. Every win, every loss and every headline. It then...

Woman Cowboys fan to name son after RG3 after losing bet to Redskins fan boyfriend.

Tweet The Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins obviously had many implications. The outcome would obviously affect the NFC East and the playoffs. The outcome would obviously affect the bitter rivalry between the two squads. However, the teams probably didn’t realize that the outcome would affect what a child would [...]
