The Washington Redskins and long snapper Nick Sundberg have reached an agreement in principle on a four-year deal, two people with knowledge of the situation said Sunday.
Sundberg was one of Washingtons six restricted free agents, but he now becomes the fourth joining Logan Paulsen, Rob Jackson and Darrel Young to agree to deals. The remaining two, nose tackle Chris Baker and return man Brandon Banks, remain unsigned.
Sundberg broke his left arm in Week 1 vs. the Saints but completed the game while injured. After being placed on injured reserve and designated to return, Sundberg came back in Week 11 and completed the season.

The Washington Redskins finally reached five-year deal with Korey Lichtensteiger and all I can say is: Wunderbar, German for wonderful. The Redskins offensive line in 2012 was one of the best in the NFL and Lichtensteiger was one of the best members of that line.
