Will the Lions make a push to sign corner back Cortland Finnegan?  Carlos Monarrez of the freep.com seems to think so.  The Titans have yet to offer Finnegan a new contract and could let him walk.  Monarrez says Finnegan will want a contract similar to the five-year, $48.75-million contract Jonathon Joseph got last year from the Texans. Is Finnegan worth that much?  At the age of 28 I am not sure if the Lions would be smart to sign Finnegan to a five-year deal. The Lions would be better of offering Finnegan a three-year deal with the front end being heavy loaded. Finnegan is a solid corner and plays with a chip on his shoulder, but I am not sure if he warrants elite corner money at the age of 28.
