Losing Faith in Giants Fast

There are lots of things to feel good about even in the wake of one of the worst regular season showings in Giants’ history.  They out-gained the Titans 471-271, had 26 first downs to 17 for Tennessee, didn’t punt the ball once (maybe a good thing); and aside from a 42-yard run in garbage time, held Chris Johnson to 2.67 yards a carry.  Eli Manning threw for 386 yards and all three starting wide receivers plus TE Kevin Boss had nice games statistically. But that’s where it ends. The 11 penalties including 5 personal fouls, Eli’s left handed throw into triple coverage, Hakeem Nicks’ critical drop on the game’s first series that was picked off, Ahmad Bradshaw’s chop block in the end zone that created a 9 and maybe 16 point swing, Bradshaw’s fumble inside the Titans’ 10 yard line when the Giants were driving to close within two points, Matt Dodge’s delay of game penalty on a 38-yard field goal try that moved the chains five ya...
