Fox Sports Arizona:
TEMPE, Ariz. Theres no formula for lineup changes in the NFL. Injuries, aging veterans, not-quite-ready rookies and underperformers can all play a role in game-day alterations -- and all of those factors exist with the Cardinals.
Regardless of why, Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has made it clear that change is occurring for the most important reason of all: Losing.
What is there to say other than its not good enough? said Whisenhunt, whose club has dropped five in a row after a 4-0 start. We started off and made enough plays to win games and then, over the last five, we havent done that.
When that happens on a consistent basis, coaching staffs will look at different personnel. Cardinals running back Beanie Wells (toe) is "on track" to play Nov. 25 against the Rams. SOURCE:AzCardinals.comFantasy Spin:Wells will easily reclaim his starting job from LaRod Stephens-Howling when he returns. While fantasy owners shouldn't expect miracles due to Arizona's offensive line woes, Wells should be owned in most formats.
Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports reports that Cardinals RB Beanie Wells appears to be on track to be activated from IR and start Week 12′s game against the Rams.
Wells has been sidelined with injuries to his toe and knee, but he’ll certainly be an upgrade over La’Rod Stephens-Howling who has been asked to take on a featured running back role following the loss of Wells and Ryan Williams.
With a red hot final two weeks, Mike O’Neill ended among AFL leaders in several offensive categories.
TEMPE – Friday night’s playoff semi-final game for future Washington State Cougar Tyler Bruggman couldn’t have gone much worse. His Brophy Prep Broncos were routed, 30-0, by Mountain Pointe, and his next head coach, Mike Leach, was on hand to watch the first half.
Sunday’s matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons looks like a one-sided affair but it could be closer than the experts think.
Hot News for C Mike Leach
The Arizona Cardinals had a significant absence as they returned to work this week looking to revive what began as a promising season but has descended into the misery of a five-game losing streak.
Defensive end Calais Campbell sat out Wednesday's practice because of a calf injury and his status for Sunday's game at Atlanta is uncertain.
