According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, Oakland Raiders wide receiver Louis Murphy will have to “fight” for one of the two final receiver spots once training camp rolls around.
With the emergence of Juron Criner and Rod Streater, Murphy will have to stand out during training camp. He only had 15 receptions for 241 yards last season, after putting together a strong 2010 campaign.

It was 2008; the Oakland Raiders had so much optimism in the air with the thought of Jamarcus Russell being the savior of the franchise and with the selection of Darren McFadden at running back would make Oakland the next great dynasty. Then the 2008 season started and Darren McFadden was sidelined much of the [...]

A court document released Tuesday notes that Smith has been charged with three additional murders.

If they can stay healthy, the Oakland Raiders' defensive line will cause opposing offenses difficulty. Because of the talent and depth that exists at the position, the Raiders are going to have some tough decisions to make when the final roster is announced. Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times believes that Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer is comfortable in the new offense and has a chance to return to his old form.
In order for the Raiders to contend for a playoff spot in the AFC this coming season, they’re going to need to Palmer to drastically improve from last season.
The buzz this offseason with the Oakland Raiders centers on Carson Palmer having an entire offseason and training camp to prepare for this season, rather than being thrown into the mix in the middle of the season like last year, but the most intriguing quarterback situation going into the Oakland Raiders training camp this season is what Gregg Knapp, the new Offensive Coordinator...
One of the more interesting training camp battles that will take place for the Oakland Raiders will be at the tight end position. The release of last year's starter Kevin Boss, left a void at the position that will be won during training camp and preseason games.
New offensive coordinator Greg Knapp uses a system that likes to feature the tight end. When he was with the Houston...

The only word that matters when referencing Al Davis is; Iconoclastic. Sadly, Mr. Davis’ legacy to most fans will be his last 10 years on [...]
